When my son was 3 years old, I used to put him to bed every night. One of the things I would do was to just talk, and talk, and talk. One night I asked him, “Son, do you want to hear the story of my life?” Half asleep, he said he wanted to hear it. I shared a few tidbits of my life and soon enough he was fast asleep.
Well, the next night as I was putting him to bed, he said, “Daddy, tell me the story of your life.”
Reading this text doesn’t do it justice. It was just too cute coming from a 3 year old’s mouth who’s just shy of falling asleep.
So with that in mind, I want to share with you, dear reader, the story of my life.
It’s been tedious at times, but never boring.
Believe me, I’ve gone through my own personal school of hard knocks.
It’s been easy, and I’ve had to work my tail off.
